WHERE IS THE REST by Antti Uimonen

About the Event
Imagine a day full of duty and no time to rest. Imagine the day after to be similar. The next days you will continue with the same pattern. Years go by. You are starting to feel tired, but you have to push through. You just have to. You are trying to optimise your wellbeing and health by eating as well as you can. You are starting to track your sleep and do regular medical checks because you want to make sure you are as healthy as possible. By the time you are starting to get weird signals from your body. You feel dizzy, foggy and disconnected sometimes. You don’t know why this is happening, but you want to start meditating because you have heard that it helps to calm yourself down. It helps for a while, but the dizziness and uncomfortable feelings are coming back. You are starting to be afraid that your body is failing on you.
The performance is searching for space to rest. How to rest when the environment pressures to be constantly present and productive?
Two more performances of our First Year students are being presented the same day, " A love story" by Anne Marina Fidler and "I know this much is true" by Katrika Duka. Check out for more information and reserve your spot!
If you are planning to attend any of the performances, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or enter your details to RSVP registration form!
