Face recognition is a sight of control.
The face is a site of molding.
Consequently, identity is a frame of molding.
The frame’s opacity is bordered.
Endemicity decides on and is decided by visibility.
Belonging is always conditioned and conditional.
I am suspended in the liminal space with some others.
Our bodies’ mobility is obscured.
We are not equivalent to Cyprus Tulip.
We are not endemic enough.
“I am not endemic enough” works through the fragmented memories of a body who is legally disidentified. It challenges the notion of belonging, investigating states of in-betweenness and embodying their never-ending tension.
