WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH | 17:20 - 17:50 | AROUND BUILDING
Nobody Nose
When I was little, I engaged with the world through two modes, which I later named the stone and the sponge. Either I was hermetic, or I absorbed the entire environment and the energies around me. Even the ones I didn’t want. Trans-corporeal vulnerability is part of who we are.
Nobody Nose, is an immersive journey through an infrastructure smellscape. Breathing is essential for survival.
What are you willing to let in?
Duration: 30 min
Location: around the building. Starting point: outside the back entrance door.
Concept and Performer: Noemi Ferrari
Supervisor: Dr. Megan Hoetger
Special thanks to my cohort for the feedback and their presence. To the technicians, the janitors and cleaning staff who keep the building running. To the earth that holds and supports the building. To the atmosphere for sustaining the earth in the universe.
